Small kitbash and first Imperial Knights

This weekend I finished my first Imperial Knight unit, 2 Armiger Warglaives and a small kitbash, an Imperial inquisitor.

The two Warglaives I painted as normal in a blue / red colour scheme and then weathered them quite heavily to resemble prolonged frontline duties.

I got my hands on a Stormcast Eternal mini from Warhammer Fantasy and decided to convert it for use in 40K. With some Space Marine bits I had lying around I gave the model a bolt pistol and a powerfist. A spare head from the space marines included in the Kill Team starterset completed the kitbash. I kept the blue / red scheme from the Warglaives, finding it quite fitting for an Inquisitor.

Further down the line the Inquisitor could get demoted to an acolyte when I find a more suited model to portray a grisly Inquisitor in the grimdark future of Warhammer 40.000.
