Picking up where we left off

Phew, those were some crazy busy months! My little blog, painting, the hobby in general had
to take a step back as work and real life in general took up most of my time.
Most, not all my time ...

Some mini's got painted, but a lot of other cool hobby related stuff has happened too!

Almost 10 years ago I was a member of a great tabletop wargames and boardgames hobbyclub
"Tin Soldiers of Antwerp". Every Friday evening we got together in the clubhouse to play some great games. Now in said club there was a small grouping of likeminded loudmouths that played the weirdest games and always made the most noise, they called themselves "The Far Side". You can
read some more about them in this blogpost made by one of the founding members.

As you might have guessed I was a member of this loveable bunch of idiots. Most of us
drifted somewhat apart, but we all stayed in the hobby to some degree (even if it was only looking at games and mini's online). Now we plan a return in an "upgraded" 2.0 version of the group. To quote The Blues Boys: We're getting the band back together!

This means a lot of fun games and painted mini's in the foreseeable future! Armies are
being mustered, rulesets are being studied and it will take me far beyond the boundaries of Warhammer 40.000.
