Indomitus

I got it, it's mine all mine! My precioussssssssssssss ....
This is not going to be an unboxing or a review, just me being excited I was still able to find a copy of this awesome boxed set! It took some searching in the local game stores, but today I got lucky and found a store that had one copy left.
Ever since I got back into the wargaming hobby about 8 months ago and discovered that Games Workshop had redone the look of the Space Marines I absolutely loved them. For me they finally looked like the superhumans they are in the lore on the tabletop. With the miniatures now bigger than the Imperial Guardsmen they really stand out on the battlefield.
It was upon discovering the new sculpts for the Space Marines that I decided I wanted to eventually field an army of them. In the past I never played or collected them, being quite a Tyranids fan.
In this box I get a complete small army somewhere in between 500 and a 1000 points of some of the coolest looking Space Marine miniatures I have ever seen! At least I think that's about the value in points, because the point values are not included in this boxed set. You do however get the Power Levels for each unit.
Apparently my timing of getting back into the hobby was not all that great, because shortly after purchasing the rulebook and some codexes Games Workshop announced the arrival of a new edition. With this Indomitus box also comes the full core rulebook, so that's great value for 2 small armies of gorgeous miniatures and the rules for this new edition!
"2 armies?" I hear you ask .... Yeah, there's Necrons too .... I think .... Oooooooo look at that new shiny Primaris Chaplain miniature! My precioussssssssssssssss ....
