I just completed my first Imperial Knight build and I must say: what a fantastic model! So much detail, so many options .... but more on the Knight in another blog post.

Using washes on miniatures is a great way to add some quick shading to the deepest recesses of a model. There are two ways of applying it:

I've been playing tabletop wargames and boardgames for quite some time now (going on 25+ years now), with the occasional break from the hobby like we all have done from time to time. This means I have some hidden gems that are mainly collecting dust and being forgotten about instead of getting played.

I would like to share with you the "One Page Rules" website. Here you can find a host of free rules for tabletop wargames. Most of them are a slimmed down version of existing bigger games that are readily available.

Got my hands on some shiny new toys!

As one of the three kill teams I wanted to paint to use them in a game with the kids I finished the Tau. The team is nothing fancy, simply all models that were included in the Kill Team.

Getting the Far Side gang back together has me looking into 6mm Sci-Fi wargaming again. This will be a "little side project" I'll be doing over the next few weeks so that I can join in the fun when the regular game evenings at the club can restart.
